Terms of Service

Welcome to Service Hub North America Inc. (“Service Hub”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our mobile app, website (https://theservicehub.ca), and all related services (collectively, the “Platform”). By using our Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
1. Nature of the Platform
Service Hub is a neutral online marketplace that connects customers with independent service providers. We do not employ or control service providers. All services are rendered by independent third parties, and any agreement made is between the customer and the provider.
We are not responsible for:
- Quality of services performed
- Delays, damages, or injuries
- Any health-related incidents
- Any losses resulting from a booked service
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use our services. By registering, you confirm that all information provided is accurate and that you are legally allowed to enter into binding contracts in your jurisdiction.
3. Payments and Fees
- Customers will be charged at the time of booking.
- A 3% platform fee will be added on top of the service price.
- Service providers will pay a 10% commission on the total earnings per job.
Payments are securely processed by Stripe. We do not store payment details.
4. Cancellations & Refunds
For Customers:
- Cancel 48+ hours before: Full refund
- Cancel 24–48 hours before: 50% refund
- Cancel within 24 hours: No refund
If a provider cancels within 48 hours of a scheduled service:
- We will try to reassign another provider
- If not possible, we will issue a full refund + $50 app credit
- Provider may be penalized with lower ratings and/or a $50 last-minute cancellation fee
5. Disputes
Customers can file a dispute within 48 hours after service completion by contacting support. Service Hub will review and may assist in resolution but does not guarantee refunds or compensation.
6. Taxes
Customers are responsible for federal and provincial taxes applicable to their location and service type. These will be added during checkout.
7. Platform Rules
By using the Platform, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and current information
- Not abuse, threaten, or harass any other user
- Not use the Platform for illegal purposes
- Not try to manipulate reviews or ratings
- Not attempt to interfere with the system or reverse engineer the app
Violation of these rules may result in suspension or termination of your account.
8. Account Termination
You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or delete accounts that:
- Violate our Terms or policies
- Misuse or exploit the platform
- Pose a security or safety risk
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
Service Hub North America Inc. is not liable for any:
- Damages, injuries, or losses resulting from services booked through the Platform
- Errors, delays, or missed appointments
- Acts, omissions, or negligence of service providers
- Incidents or accidents that occur during service
Customers and providers assume full responsibility for their interactions and services rendered.
10. Intellectual Property
All trademarks, logos, content, and app features are the property of Service Hub North America Inc. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of our Platform without our written permission.
11. AI Tools and Support
We use AI-based tools (e.g., chat assistants) to support users. These tools are for informational purposes only and do not replace human judgment or customer support decisions.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms occasionally. Updates will be posted at:

You'll be notified of major changes via email or in-app notifications. Continuing to use the Platform means you accept the updated Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the laws of Canada.
